CAPE 5:  ETHICS AND INTEGRITY

As a future administrator (who prides themselves on having strong ethics and integrity) and education leader, I will need to make decisions, model, and behave in ways that demonstrate professionalism, ethics, integrity, justice, and equity and hold staff to the same standard, which is a critical role. I work with the administrator on rolling out the Staff survey (BRIGHT BYTES).

As a part of the PAR Joint Panel, I worked with administrators and teachers to confidentially assist teachers with district assistance plans. Additionally, as a part of the PAR Joint Panel, we planned for district-wide professional development given by and for teachers. While working with my grade-level team,  we confidentially discussed student progress, needs in development, and possible future testing needs. I was chosen to serve on an interview panel with administrators, classified staff, and teachers to interview candidates for a district Assistant Superintendent confidentially.

Ethics and integrity are necessary in all aspects of life, personal and professional. I will continue to strive to show ethics and integrity. I will work to lead by example as I work toward being an administrator.
